I see this post and could not help my self Yeah that "Guy" was me... all the spikes on all drones mats from fanfest onwards was me sold half used half to build an army of mining drones for u all to enjoy and no "insider" knowledge other than a bit of smarts and good listening... it was a small part of the Keynote stream at Fanfest the ccp guy on stage was like "hey guys Rorq will be awesome and have mega drones that will use """drone mats""" to build... so that day and since then I invested big in all 7 mats. as well as ALOT of other items Seems that paid off #Winning What I will say is the high price is due to the fact that the 'Excavator' Drones are just SOOOO good at what they do and tbh even the aug drones are 9% better over T2, so you have 4 new sinks for the 7 mats 5 'Excavator' Drones can mine 45k m3 per 90s // or 5 units of ice per 10sec They are soo far above any other method of mining, and that should cost a lot... I am guessing the 7 drones mats will be high priced (new price) for along time to come... While I agree these Exc drones should cost a lot in total to build... what I will say is Elite AI's are a bit Redic at 15m each and I would like to see the cost of these drones shifted and evened out on to all 7 of the drone mats... maybe give us better drops or more ways to find Elite AI's to help out supply. My projections show that with the new sinks in place, and how good all 4 of these drones are, on top of the fact all 7 mats will still have all the old sinks for them... I only see the price going up on all 7 drone mats for at least the next few months !! even after that point these 7 Mats will always sell good and never be the price they was, this is always the way of things, when they add new stuff that's good to the game. On the up side drone space got a buff, I always felt drone faction spawns was always a bit Meh vs other Npc's, now they are up to par in a more pay out via drone mats rather than hope for faction drop way Thanks for reading Kat. *The Officer Hunting Legend.
